Embedded Registration - SMB Coexistence Guide (API)

Module 1: Facebook Account Registration

If you already have a Facebook account, you can skip this step.

Register an account on Facebook's official website ( https://www.facebook.com ).

1. Fill in basic information
2. Verify email/phone number
3. Registration is successful once verification is complete.

Important Notes: For more information, please click on [ FB Account Important Notes ].

(1) Facebook account, which can be a personal email address or a company email address (but we need to take into account issues such as staff turnover, which may have an impact on the future).

(2) Use a Facebook account that has been registered and used for a long time . It is not recommended to start registering a new account directly.

(3) Facebook account, it is recommended to use it after completing two-factor authentication.

(4) One Facebook account can only correspond to one personal identity verification information.

Module 2: Embedded Registration Process - SMB Coexistence

Step 0: Registration Instructions

The relationship between the two is that the meta business account is linked to the SMB account.

Step 1: Embedded Registration Entry

Log in to the NXCLOUD platform at https://www.nxcloud.com/login, then navigate to 【WhatsApp - Client Applications - Number - Embedded Registration】

• Embedded Enrolment(Cloud API)

Please note again: It is recommended to wait 1-2 weeks after registering a new Facebook account before registering a Meta business account and a coexisting SMB account.

Step 2: Log in to your Facebook account & authorize

Log in to your Facebook account to begin authorization and registration.

Step 3: Register a meta business account

To register a new meta business account , you need to fill in the company name (which must match the one on your business license, and can be in uppercase or lowercase), company website, company email, company address, and other information.

If you are registering under an existing entity, simply select the corresponding meta business account.

Note: This information must be true and complete (refer to the information on the business license).

Step 4: Link your existing WhatsApp Business app account

Select "Link existing WhatsApp Business app "

Enter the corresponding number that is registered for the WhatsApp Business App.

Step 5: Import contacts and chat history from your WhatsApp Business app account

Follow the official instructions to sync your WhatsApp Business app account contacts and chat history with the WhatsApp Business app on your original device. You can do this by scanning a QR code or entering a verification code.

  1. Find the message from the official Facebook Business account and then click "Enter CAPTCHA".

  2. If you do not see the message, please tap "Menu" or "Settings" and then select "Account".

  3. Select "Connect to Business Platform".

  4. Choose how you want to share your chat history. You can choose to share chat history from the last 6 months (excluding group chat history) or not share chat history.

  5. Copy the verification code displayed on the embedded registration page or scan the QR code.

Once completed, a linking prompt will appear, which may take up to 45 seconds. After successful linking, the message "Linked to NXAI" will appear on WhatsApp Business.

Step 6: Confirm WhatsApp business account

You will be redirected to the time zone selection page. Select your time zone and click Continue.

PS: If this screen doesn't appear and you're still on the "Import Contacts and Chat History" screen and can't click "Continue," please click the "Back" button to return to the previous page, then click "Continue" again. This will take you to the "Confirm WhatsApp Business Account" screen.

Step 7: Complete the binding and check the number status.

After completion, follow the steps below and click Next. Finally, a step to bind a number will appear on the NX platform. Select the number and click Next to complete the SMB binding.

 

Module 3: Unbind WhatsApp Business App(SMB)

You must unlink your business platform through the WhatsApp Business App on your phone. Go to Tools > Settings > Account > Business Platform, and then click on the business platform you have linked to unlink it.
 
Once completed, a page linking to the business platform will appear. At this step, the operation on the app is finished. The customer needs to provide the corresponding number to NX personnel, who will then delete the number in the backend and unbind the app, thus completing the process.
