Route Usage

1. Configure Agent Group Route

  • In Agent Group Management, assign the custom route that the agent group will use.

  • In Agent Group Management, you can also specify the NXCloud voice trunk for the group.

  • When enabling outbound caller ID, the NXCloud voice trunk will be used. You can configure either:

    • A random number, or

    • A pre-configured DID number.

 


2. Agents Use Routes to Make Calls

  • Agents can select the desired route from the dial pad when placing a call.

  • If an agent belongs to multiple agent groups, they may have multiple routes available to choose from.


3. Select Route for AI Outbound Tasks

  • When creating an outbound task, select the agent group.

  • The outbound task will then use the route assigned to that agent group to place calls.
