How to Resolve “Pending Review” Status After Registering a WhatsApp Number

When you finish registering a WhatsApp number but no binding pop-up appears, and the WhatsApp number is not visible on the NX platform, you can go to the Meta backend (https://business.facebook.com/) and check under the corresponding WABA (WhatsApp Business Account) → WhatsApp Manager to see if the number status shows Pending Review.

If the number status is “Pending Review”:

1. Re-register using the embedded signup flow

   • Use the same information as before.

   • During the steps Register Meta Business Account and Create WABA, select the previously saved registration information from the drop-down menu.

2. Continue the registration flow normally

   • After completing the process and successfully binding the WhatsApp number, go back to the Meta backend or the NX platform to check whether the number status is updated to normal.

3. If the issue persists

   • Contact NX support staff for further investigation.
