Migration Instructions
Migrate WhatsApp numbers from other BSP service providers to NXCLOUD:

High-quality templates under the "source waba" can be migrated to the "target waba".

The migration process will generally not affect the normal use of numbers.
The migration process mainly involves 4 modules as detailed below:
Module | Description |

FB Account | Refers to the Facebook account used for logging into the "source waba". |
Phone Number | Refers to the WhatsApp phone number being prepared for migration. |
Source WABA | Refers to the waba account registered in another BSP, corresponding to the migration phone number. |
Target WABA | Refers to the waba account registered in NXCLOUD, intended to receive the migrated phone number. |
Migration Preparation
Module | Migration Requirements |

FB Account | (1) Register the Facebook account for the "source waba". |
(2) Or a Facebook account with management permissions for the associated "BM entity" of the "source waba". | |
Phone Number | (1) The number being prepared for migration must already be registered and in use in the source WABA. |
(2) If two-step verification is enabled for the number, it must be disabled. | |
(3) The number must be able to receive verification codes (via SMS or voice). | |
Source WABA | (1) Must have completed meta enterprise verification and obtained approval. |
(2) The audit status of the "source waba" must be normal. | |
Target WABA | (1) The "BM entity" associated with the "target waba" must match that of the "source waba". |
(2) The audit status of the "target waba" must be normal, and the associated "BM entity" must have passed meta enterprise certification. |
Operational Steps
Step 1: Create Target WABA
This step is performed by the customer with assistance from NXCLOUD.
It can be completed through embedded registration in NXCLOUD, with two options available based on customer requirements:

NXLink Registration Method: Refer to the Embedded Registration & Authentication Guide (NXLink).

API Registration Method: Refer to the Embedded Registration & Authentication Guide (NXCloud API).
Notes:

Use the original Facebook account to log in for registration.

Select the BM entity corresponding to the "source waba".

The phone number used for registering the "target waba" must not be the number being prepared for migration.
Step 2: Disable Two-Step Verification
This step is performed by the customer with assistance from NXCLOUD.
Instructions: Two-step verification must be disabled before migrating the phone number. The disabling process should be completed through the WhatsApp Management Tool in the BM backend using the FB account.
Path: WhatsApp Management Tool -> Phone Number -> Phone Number Settings -> Two-Step Verification -> Disable Two-Step Verification
Step 3: Migrate WhatsApp Number
This step is performed by NXCLOUD with assistance from the customer.
During the migration process, the customer needs to provide the verification code for the migrated number (can choose between voice or SMS).
