MM Lite API Overview
Meta has introduced the Marketing Messages Lite API (MM Lite API) on the WhatsApp Business Platform. It is a lightweight direct marketing API designed to automatically optimize marketing campaign delivery. This helps businesses push marketing messages more precisely, aiming to improve user experience and increase marketing conversion rates.
Compared with the Cloud API (currently used by businesses to send marketing messages to users), messages sent through the MM Lite API achieve higher delivery and read rates. The optimized delivery ensures businesses can reach high-intent target customers at scale with lower costs, achieving better marketing outcomes.
